The purpose of the WIPTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Washtenaw International High School & Middle Academy, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Washtenaw International High School & Middle Academy through volunteer and financial support.
All Are Welcome!
All parents/guardians of Washtenaw International High School and Middle Academy students, plus all staff members are welcome to join the WIPTO in fulfilling its mission. Membership dues are not required to participate in the WIPTO. Each individual member shall have one vote.

The PTO is currently looking for parents to serve a number of support roles within the PTO.
- Grocery program coordinators( 2-4) manage, advertise to parents as well as set up delivery of scrip.
- Parent reps- assist Class Deans as well as PTO with class events, trips, projects. Help secure volunteers for events
- Freshman parent rep (2)
- Sophomore parent rep (2)
- Junior parent rep (2)
- Senior parent rep (2)

Meetings
Meeting are held virtually from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on the second Monday of the month. The link will be in the school's weekly notes and sent out by the PTO each month. The 2023-2024 dates are: 11/13/23, 12/11/23, 01/08/24, 02/12/24, 03/11/24, 04/08/24, 05/13/24.
