I'm the Program Director for Africa and the Middle East here at Where There Be Dragons. Dragons runs rugged summer and gap year adventures for high school students across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
As the new year kicks off, we're starting to reach out to schools to share our exciting schedule of programs around the developing world in 2014. I will be in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, January 22, and I'd love to plan a visit to your school while I'm there if possible. It would be great to set up an informational lunch table, speak at an assembly, or just meet with you and your colleagues, depending on how you prefer to schedule visitors at your school. If you have colleagues who might be interested in a guest speaker, I'd love to talk to a French, religion or history class and share my experience living in Francophone West Africa or South Asia (I spent 2.5 years living in West Africa and a year and a half living in Bangladesh). You can contact me at this email address or by phone at 1-800-982-9203 to set something up. If your schedule is already busy that week, I'd be happy just to stop by and meet with you briefly and drop off some new informational materials. I hope this message finds you well, and I look forward to coordinating with you while I'm in your neighborhood. Warm regards, Christy Sommers Program Director: Africa & the Middle East Where There Be Dragons 303.413.0822/800.982.9203 Comments are closed.
