WIMA/WIHI students and families - please join us for the first Counselor Coffee forum this Thursday, Sept. 11 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the courtyard. Ms. Taylor and Mr. Nemerovski will hold forums each month to share information regarding current counseling issues and to listen to your concerns and ideas!
Our first forum will cover: beginning-of-year transitions, student accommodations at WIMA/WIHI and updates on college application processing. And we'll have light snacks, courtesy of the wonderful WIHI PTO! If you can't make it to the September forum, mark your calendar for our next forum on Tuesday, October 7 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Are you registered for an upcoming ACT test? Do you feel you may need additional preparation for this important exam?
Well, look no further! College Tutors in Ann Arbor is hosting a free ACT practice test for students attending high schools in the Ann Arbor area.
The practice ACT exam starts at 8:30 am on March 1st.
The practice test will take place at the College Tutors Ann Arbor Learning Center:
3907 Jackson Road
Ann Arbor, MI 48103
What should I bring?
You should treat this practice exam just as you would the real ACT exam. Therefore, you should bring sharpened number 2 pencils, a watch, a permitted calculator and snacks or drinks if needed during the break.
Why take a practice exam?
Since the ACT is one of the most important exams you will ever have to take, it is important to make sure you are 100% prepared to take the exam. TheACT is also a timed exam, unlike most exams you have experience taking. Taking the practice exam will give you an idea of how you should pace yourself throughout the exam. If that still doesn't convince you, the practice exam will at least give you a better idea of what material you should study for the ACT.
What if I can't make it?
If you can't make it to this practice test, there is another taking place on Saturday, April 5th.
Hurry! Spots are limited.
Make sure to register for this practice exam as soon as possible, since spots are limited. You will not want to miss out on this opportunity.
If you are interested in registering for the practice ACT exam, call (734) 761-8393 to register or stop into our learning center to reserve your spot.
